Accessibility Statement for Deviceology Ltd.

Last Updated: 18th September 2023

1. Commitment to Accessibility
At Deviceology Ltd ("Deviceology"), we firmly believe in building a digital space that is open and inclusive to all. Recognizing the diverse needs of our audience, which includes individuals with varying disabilities, we are dedicated to ensuring that our website is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. Our dedication to digital inclusion means we continually strive to improve the user experience for everyone and align with globally recognized accessibility standards.

2. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are a set of guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to ensure that the internet is a more inclusive space for everyone. These guidelines define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Currently, Deviceology is proud to announce that we are conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level A. This signifies that while a majority of our content aligns with the guidelines, there may be some areas that need further improvements or updates. Our ultimate goal is to achieve Level AA conformity, and we are actively implementing measures to achieve this level.

3. Measures Taken
To demonstrate our commitment to accessibility and to cater to the diverse needs of our audience, Deviceology has initiated several measures:

Text Alternatives: We understand the importance of visual content. Thus, for every non-text content, we provide a text description, ensuring that users relying on screen readers or other assistive technologies can understand and engage with the content.

Keyboard Navigation: Recognizing that not everyone uses a mouse, we've ensured that our website can be navigated using just the keyboard, making it convenient for those who rely on keyboard-only controls.

Readable Fonts: Keeping in mind the varied audience, we've chosen scalable fonts, and have ensured optimal contrast settings, allowing for clear readability and a better visual experience.

Captions for Multimedia: Acknowledging the importance of multimedia in conveying information, we've added captions to videos, ensuring those with hearing impairments can access the content.

4. Accessibility Features in Progress
Accessibility is a journey, and at Deviceology we are continuously striving to improve. Our ongoing projects to further enhance accessibility include:

Voice-Over Features: Recognizing the power of auditory communication, we are working on implementing voice-over capabilities for better screen reader compatibility, ensuring that visually impaired users can interact efficiently with our platform.

Keyboard Interface: While our website is already keyboard navigable, we aim to refine this feature, ensuring all functionalities, including forms and multimedia, are operable via a keyboard interface.

Contrast Enhancements: We are working on increasing the contrast ratios of text and non-text elements, making them more perceivable, especially for users with visual impairments or color-blindness.

Error Identification in Forms: Understanding the frustration of form errors, we are introducing features to identify and suggest corrections for errors in real-time, ensuring a smooth user experience.
